A quick post from Work Hell*

Here’s a pic of the postcards I received from Stephannie as part of Project Spectrum.



I wish red photographed better for me – these are little pieces of art! The paper is hand-made and embellished with more paper and paint and the texture of these is just wonderful! Thank you so much, Stephannie, and your envelope will be in the mail tomorrow or Friday…I plan on framing these and adding a bit of much-needed red to my “decorating” scheme.

I finished a little gifty for Mom last night but won’t show a pic here until after she has received her package.

I have had very little time to do any crafting the last couple of weeks. I am fried. I am badly in need of the vacation I’ll be taking next month. Just pass me some more hot tea so I can stay awake until then.

* Don’t get me wrong, I love the paycheck that my job produces. The work is not dangerous or hazardous and does not involve food fried at high temperatures. I don’t have much to complain about. My irritation stems from the fact that it takes so damned long to get anything done. I need some Instant Gratification! And a raise…The Boss just asked us all to expect to work overtime for the foreseeable future…Sigh.
